Your feet are important. They hold up the vertical structure of your body, and carry you through life, giving you a foundation on which to stand. Your feet, and how you use them, influence your physical architecture as well as your BodyMind being.
If the momentum of your body is moving forward, and your feet are not pointed in that direction as well, your BodyMind complex receives conflicting messages about what direction you want to move in. Your mind is thinking one thing, but your body is doing something totally different. This dissonance can lead to feelings of anxiety, depression and the inability to get your basic needs met in a healthy way. And like the car mentioned above, if your feet are rotated in or out as your body mass moves forward, you’ll mess up your axial, which in this case, are your knees and hips.
